This stunning combination of two of my delicious colorways: Black Licorice & Marshmallow, with a pop of Cherry Cotton Candy mohair are a match made in heaven! If you are not into shawls, this is also a great set for a color blocked sweater, or simply to round out your stash.
This comes with two skeins of both Black Licorice and Marshmallow on the following base:
SIMPLE SYRUP
100g/400yrds
80% super wash merino
20% nylon
and 25grams of Cotton Candy mohair in the Cherry Colorway
228yds
70% Ultra fine kid mohair
30% silk
NOTE: This does NOT come with a finished, knitted shawl, only the yarn to make one.
This yarn is hand-dyed so each skein is unique and may vary slightly from skein to skein.
This is a natural material and requires a little extra care. It should be hand washed by soaking your item in tepid water with a soap for wool. Gently squeeze the water from your handmade item, never wringing it, and place in a towel and roll up to remove the excess. Lay flat to dry.
Some colors may bleed, depending upon the ph balance of your water. To be cautious, you could add a color catcher sheet to your wash water.
Our Merino comes from Argentina and Uruguay. It is sourced from many farms of varying sizes, from smaller to larger farms that do not practice muesling.
